It seems my coworkers are influencing me in more then one way! The same co-worker who inspired me to begin crocheing also led me to buy Morning and Evening Revised and updated by Alistair Begg, written by Charles H. Spurgeon.
Each day there are 2 short devotionals (abut 2 paragraphs)to read. One in the morning, and one in the evening. Very simple!
With some changes at work, most of us arrive a little before 7am--making it even more of a challenge to squeeze in a devotional at home beforehand. I usually pray in my car on the way to work, but it's really hard to concentrate on reading by myself at 5am. So, on some mornings we read aloud to each other::

I keep it by my bed and challenge myself to read each morning and evening (hence the title). These short devotionals have warmed my heart each day to give desire to worship the Lord. Of course, they can't take the place of regular Bible reading--a temptation--but are very helpful.
